The Town of Whitman is soliciting bids for the following services, under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B. Emergency power generators maintenance and as-needed and emergency repair services. Qualified contractors are requested to submit bids to the Assistant Town Administrator in accordance with the bid submission instructions contained within this Invitation for Bids. The Town is seeking to award a one-year contract for the period beginning July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 with an optional two one-year extensions. The renewals are based on the discretion of the Town and subject to Annual Appropriation of Funds. The Town will provide written confirmation of renewal at least sixty (30) days prior to the expiration of the contract period. The Town of Whitman reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part and to make awards in a manner deemed in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Whitman is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Bids from Woman/Minority Business Enterprises are strongly encouraged.
