Site work for a water / sewer project in Poulan, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of improvements at a new well site. A new well will be drilled, a pump and motor set, a down test performed, and a new generator will be installed at the well site. Electrical improvements will also be made to accommodate the new well and generator at the existing chemical feed building. High efficiency motors will be installed at the new well site. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening. Acquisition of property for easements, right of way, etc. is not expected to be required for this project. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority's (GEFA) Drinking Water State Revolving Loan fund. The construction contract will be subject to GEFA's Supplemental General Conditions for Federally Assisted State Revolving Loan Fund Construction Contracts including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements and Davis Bacon & Related Act requirements. Additionally, the contract will be subject to GEFA's American Iron and Steel Special Conditions and Information for Federally Assisted State Revolving Loan Fund Construction Contracts.
