Type of Award Lump Sum Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline May 1, 2019 1:00 PM The Department of Public Utilities, Energy Delivery Division of the City of Riverside is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to do the following:o Testing and treatment of up to 30,878 cable feet of #2 Al 15kV HMPE and XLPE Cable in Conduit or CIC in the Canyon Crest Areas 3 & 4, in conjunction with minor GO 165 repairs and upgrades.o 2-3.2.1 Specialty Work - Cable Ohm Check and Partial Discharge (PD) testing online shall be designated Specialty Work to be performed by Techimp US Corp. Cable end to end gas flow, pressure testing and Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) testing, cable rejuvenation treatment and training shall also be designated Specialty Work to be performed by Novinium Inc. or cable rejuvenation technicians certified by Novinium with a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing cable rejuvenation on electric utility medium voltage cables. The Final day for receipt of questions from Contractors shall be on or before May 1, 2019 before 1:00 pm. To ensure fairness and avoid misunderstandings, all communications must be in the format noted above. Any verbal communications will not be considered or responded to. Any communications, whether written or verbal, with any City Council member or City staff other than the individual indicated above, prior to award of a contract by City Council, is strictly prohibited and the Contractor shall be disqualified from consideration
