Renovation of a detention facility in Montrose, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Work shall consist of removing, repairing and replacing a portion of the existing roof of the Administration Building located at the intersection of Public Avenue and Maple Street in Montrose, Susquehanna County, PA, as shown on the Construction Documents. Only Bidders receiving a full set of Documents through the County will be on record to receive Addenda. Notice is hereby given that this project is a Public Works Project and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, P.L., 744 and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act No. 442 of August 15, 1961, as amended on August 9, 1963. The bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to Susquehanna County. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding. If written notice of the acceptance of this Bid is mailed or delivered to the undersigned within sixty (60) days after the opening thereof, or at any time thereafter before the Bid is withdrawn, the undersigned agrees to execute and deliver the Agreement in the form prescribed by Susquehanna County. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope containing Bid and Bid Bond, or other approved bid security, and shall be addressed to Susquehanna County Commissioner Office, and shall be plainly marked with the wording,Bid for Susquehanna County Correctional Bu
