Renovation of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

A complete set of plans and specifications must be purchased to bid the project. Copies of plan sets and individual sheets can be obtained by interested parties other than Prime Contractors by contacting Signature Reprographics and paying the reproduction costs It is mandatory that all General Contractors (GCs) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Subcontractors who intend to submit bids fully complete the pre-qualification questionnaire, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the District. MEP is defined as subcontractors holding the following license classifications: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and/or C-46. No bid will be accepted from a GC that has failed to comply with these requirements, or submits a bid that lists MEP Subs that have failed to comply with these requirements. If two or more business entities submit a bid on a project as a Joint Venture, or expect to submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, each entity within the Joint Venture must be separately qualified to bid. This project is in-kind replacement of all existing rooftop mechanical equipment and addition of CO detection in all permanent buildings. AC units are Owner-furnished, Contractor-installed. This project requires a Class B license. In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. payment of the appropriate general prevailing rate of wages for all crafts employed on the public works site is required of the Contractor and all subcontractors. This project has a goal of 3% Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE) participation per the State Allocation Board requirements. Compliance with California Education Code Section 45125.1 mandating fingerprinting requirements applies to this project.
