Renovation of a municipal facility in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,042-square-foot municipal facility.

**As of May 30, 2019 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** It is the complete responsibility of the Bidders to ensure that their bid has been received by the Controller by the date and time specified and the Owner assumes no responsibility for bids mailed, but not received. Bids will be required on a lump sum basis for each of the following Prime Contractors for the Project: Contract No. 18-08-15.1 General Construction (GC) Contract No. 18-08-15.2 Plumbing Construction (PC) Contract No. 18-08-15.3 Heating Construction (HC) Contract No. 18-08-15.4 Electrical Construction (EC) Collectively, the project will be known as Project Number 18-08-15. Should there be no decimal point and number behind the project designation, that means that this section of the Contract relates to all Prime Contractors. Copies of the Bid Documents and Plans may be examined and obtained at the office of Schoonover & Vanderhoof, Architects, LLC located at 39 North Courtland Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Telephone inquiries regarding this Advertisement for Bids may be made to the Architects at (570) 424-2980. Prime Contractors shall be limited to two (2) sets of Bid Documents. Nonbidders upon so returning copies as above will be refunded 50% of their deposits refunded to them. Otherwise, full deposit will be forfeited. Make deposit check payable to Schoonover & Vanderhoof, Architects, LLC. The Bid Documents and Plans will also be available on a CD at a non-refundable cost of $50.00 per CD. The CD will not have to be returned. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in form of a certified check, bank treasurers check, bank cashiers check, or an irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than 10% of the Base Bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds from an acceptable surety company in the amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated contract amounts. An acceptable surety company is any one included in the latest issue of the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570 listing. The successful bidders shall be required to enter into written contract(s) in accordance with contract documents available from the Architect. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The project will require all Contractors to abide by the Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination. Construction is scheduled to begin about May 28, 2019. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids and award contracts in the best interests of the County.
