The improvements will correct deficiencies in the existing sewer infrastructure, which was originally extended from the City of Newport’s system without proper engineering design or standard construction practices. The new infrastructure will be constructed using modern materials and methods to ensure long-term reliability, functionality, and ease of maintenance. The project is included in the City's 2027-2031Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
