Middletown plans to renovate the existing Middletown High School into a consolidated elementary school for grades 2 through 5, including administrative and maintenance offices. This transformation is part of a broader $190 million bond initiative approved by voters in November 2023, which also includes constructing a new combined middle-high school. The project aims to modernize educational facilities, enhance learning environments, and extend the useful life of existing buildings.
