Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Hellertown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Project has not yet officially awarded, but intent to award is for the Low bidder, council meeting to approve the award is on 06/19/2019. The successful bidder shall provide a Bid Bond in the form of a Certified Check or Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total contract price. If you are downloading the bid specs from our website, it is your responsibility to contact the Township at (610) 865-3291 If we have not received your information, the Township will not be responsible if the bid you submit does not contain the most current information based on any issued addendums, if applicable. Work must be completed by August 31, 2019. Within ten (10) days of issuance of Notice of Award and prior to approval of the Agreement, the Contractor shall provide a Performance Guarantee in the form of a Certified Check or Bond in the amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price, which Certified Check or Bond or other security shall be made payable to Township and which Performance Guarantee will be held until completion of the work. Failure to provide this security shall result in forfeiture of the Bid Security. A Certificate of Insurance shall also be provided within ten (10) days as further described. Liquidated damages will be imposed at a rate of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day, if the Contractor fails to complete any stage of this project within the time period(s) specified in the proposal.
