Bids for the Anderson Sewage Lift Station Generator and Controls Replacement project will be received and preliminarily evaluated as a Lump Sum bid. A Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each BID. Required Bid Security shall be in the form of a certified check, bank check or Bid Bond issued by a Surety. In the employment and use of labor, the Contractor shall conform to all State of Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor. Contractor shall pay to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under the CONTRACT, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. In the employment and use of labor, the Contractor shall conform to all Illinois Human Rights requirements regarding labor and human rights. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept any or reject any and all BIDS when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner.
