Site work for a water / sewer project in League City, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
At Hughes Lane and W. Deats Road, the existing ditches and box culvert crossings are to be widened/deepened to reduce flow constrictions of Borden's Gully. This project will require a drainage analysis of the area, design of the new crossings and ditch widening, and potentially land acquisition. Cost estimate as shown is based on 2018 pricing and assumes no land acquisition will be needed. This project can be constructed as a standalone project, but should be tied to the proposed Magnolia Bayou Diversion Project. Depending on the outcome of the preliminary feasibility report for that project, this project's scope could be reduced. As of October 2022, the project has been delayed pending a meeting between the City of League City and the City of Dickinson since the project is in an adjoining jurisdiction. Construction bidding is programmed for the fourth quarte of 2022. Construction is programmed for the first quarter of 2023.
