Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Claysburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project is for the rehabilitation of the reinforced concrete arch (Bridge 70) that carries County Road 101 (Bedford Street) over South Poplar Run Blair County. The existing bridge is a single-span reinforced concrete arch with reinforced concrete substructure components and a bituminous deck wearing surface. The proposed project will be on the same horizontal alignment with slight modifications to the profile to account for any changes to the structure. The proposed bridge width will be 34'-0" curb-to-curb and a 5'-0" sidewalk along both sides. The limits of the proposed roadway improvements will be the area required to construct the proposed structure and tie-in the approach roadway and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 7207, SECTION SPR in BLAIR COUNTY, GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP near Claysburg.
