Indiana University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 013100, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents. Work included in each Separate Prime Contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. General Construction: a. Demolition of existing partitions and finishes including doors and ceilings. b. Provide new partitions, interior doors, frames, glazing and garage door. c. Providing all new finishes, casework, counter tops, toilet partitions, lockers and other fixed equipment as indicated on the drawings. d. Painting of entire space as well as patching existing surfaces to remain as required for a complete project. 2. HVAC Construction: a. Demolition and replacement of HVAC components as required in the contact documents. 3. Plumbing Construction: a. Demolition of existing plumbing and fire protection as needed for new plumbing and fire protection as delineated in the contactor documents. 4. Electrical Construction: General Requirements for 2018K110 Section 011000 - Summary Page 2 of 9 a. Demolition of existing electrical and fire alarms systems as needed for new power and lighting and fire alarm systems as delineated in the contactor documents. b. All AV/IT and Security equipment, wiring, controls and relocation of existing equipment as delineated in the contactor documents. Work shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University.
