Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in New Castle, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project work generally consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for replacing five (5) structural steel transfer bridges, blasting and coating the bridge gantries, repairing deteriorated concrete and constructing three (3) approach ramps. Bidders are advised that, pursuant to DRBA Resolution 09-25, work under the project is subject to the DRBA's Supplier Diversity Policy. The goal for the participation of certified Disadvantaged, Minority and/or Women-owned Businesses (M/W/DBEs) is five percent (5%) of the total value of the contract. Bidders are advised that this project is subject to the DRBAs Prevailing Wage Policy.
