Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work of Contract is for construction of approximately 6,100 linear feet of 60-inch, 54- inch, and 24-inch diameter water lines with all necessary valves and appurtenances, along a Centerpoint energy powerline corridor from south of Dinner Creek to the existing West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA or Authority) Contract 39 54-inch diameter water line. The proposed water line installation will consist of primarily open cut construction; however, trenchless methods are required at crossings of Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) roads, Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) drainage systems, CenterPoint Energy Overhead Power Towers, and some private pipelines. Additionally, this work necessitates the partial removal and replacement of backslope swales and storm sewers owned and maintained by the HCFCD, details of this work are provided in the Construction Drawings.
