Site work for a road / highway in Milbank, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Price for asphalt milling was $1.75/SY. City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive competitive bids for 2019 for asphalt milling as follows: 30,000 square yards, more or less as determined by the city, cold asphalt milling, the existing surface of the pavement shall be removed by milling a depth of approximately two inches. The milled surface shall be free from detrimental ridges or grooves. Loose material resulting from the milling shall be immediately picked up and hauled to a location as determined by the miller. This bid shall include any additional work that is required to mill around manholes and water valves. All bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bank Draft in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid. Said security to be made payable to the City of Milbank and to be drawn on a State or national Bank domiciled within the State of South Dakota. Said security will be retained by the City of Milbank in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter in a contract when notified of the awards. Bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid may be submitted with the bid in place of the security. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Milbank.
