Renovation of a water / sewer project in Salisbury Beach, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
WWTP Disinfection and Controls Upgrade. The scope of work includes upgrade the existing electro-mechanical control system to SCADA System with PLC-networked distributed control and monitoring. Provide 2 SCADA control stations, 3 PLC control panels and fiber optic network, programming and configuration for fully integrated SCADA system with secured remote access and alarm dialing software. Replace 4 existing UV disinfection units with 3 2 MGD UV units, piping and instrumentation in the Disinfection Building and Lagoon Effluent Pump Station, select instrumentation upgrades, refrigerated samplers, electrical equipment upgrades, associated site and electrical work. Contractor Qualification : DCAMM Certificate. DCAMM Category of Certification: Sewage and Water Treatment Plants. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
