Renovation of a military facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The purpose of this Invitation to Tender (ITT) is for BGIS, to obtain offers from interested and qualified construction professionals to perform the work as outlined below. Gate Valves: .1 Ensure there is no steam pressure in the lines affected by gate valve replacement. Relieve residual steam pressure in low, medium, and high pressure lines as required .2 Remove and replace Gate Valve-1. Note that Gate Valve-1 is a priority and is to be scheduled during the Central Plant Shutdown .3 Remove and replace Gate Valve-2 .4 Remove and replace Gate Valve-3 .5 Replace all piping and fittings and valve insulation as required Pressure Reducing Valves .1 Ensure there is no steam pressure in the lines affected by the pressure reducing valve replacement .2 Relieve residual pressure as necessary .3 Replace Pressure Reducing Valves .4 Re-orientate strainers to match manufacturers approved orientation for use .5 Replace all insulation impacted by the work above Pressure Relief Valve and Pipe .1 Ensure there is no steam pressure in the line to be affected by the pressure relief valve and pipe replacement .2 Remove pressure relief pipe .3 Remove pressure relief valve .4 Paint and install pressure relief pipe and valve .5 Patch and repair roof to original state to prevent leaking through penetration After the completion of all the above-mentioned work, ensure all valves are set to operational condition as identified and insulated. * Award subject to final approval.
