For Gautier Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier Rehabilitation The project primarily consists of mechanical system repairs to various treatment processes within the Gautier Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Work at the Gautier WWTP includes replacement of clarifier #1 and #2, rehabilitation of the yard water system, replacement of the return activated sewage pumps, replacement of the waste activated sewage pumps, replacement of the scum pump, replacement of blower and associated controls, piping and valves. Work will also include all other miscellaneous work as shown on the drawings and stated in the specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Article 10 of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder shall furnish proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders. Time of commencement of the Work and Contract Times for completion shall be in accordance with Article 4 of the Agreement. All Bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work, must comply with Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972, by having a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Public Contractors. The Certificate of Responsibility Number shall be indicated on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope before it can be opened. All bids submitted for $50,000.00 or less shall be so marked on the Exterior of the sealed bid envelope. The Jackson County Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, informalities or irregularities in the bids received, solicit new bids, or to choose that bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Jackson County Utility Authority. The instructions contained in this "Notice to Bidders" shall be considered as an extension and part of the project contract documents.
