Site work and paving for a civil project in Keweenaw Bay, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are solicited for the construction of "Hemlock Street Culvert Replacement", for the Village of Baraga, Baraga County, Michigan. The project includes: the installation of a 84' long x 8' span x 6' tall precast box culvert, backfill, riprap, slope restoration, water main relocation and road restoration. The Contract Documents may be examined at the office of U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc. at 100 Portage Street, Houghton, Michigan 49931 If the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within fifteen (15) days after the Notice of Award and may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after bid deadline. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) prequalification classification for this project is 235Ea. Bidders must have the proper classification and numerical rating required for the work bid. Prevailing/Davis Bacon Wages are not required for this project.
