**The anticipated Notice to Proceed date would be in late August, and it’s a 500 calendar day contract. The project is located on Mountain View Road, Frances Drive, and Harbison Canyon Road in unincorporated El Cajon, California. The scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Provide mobilization, demobilization, bonds and insurance. Procure County of San Diego permits required to perform the work. Prepare, submit, and implement traffic control plans approved by the County of San Diego. Prepare, submit to the State Water Resources Control Board, implement, and comply with a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan throughout the construction period. Prepare and implement a Fire Prevention and Emergency Access Plan, including provision of a water truck onsite for the purpose of extinguishing accidental fires. Provide temporary facilities, including a field trailer, sanitary facilities, and utilities.Prior to, during, and at completion of major phases of work, professionally photograph and video existing improvements in and adjacent to the project work areas, including roads used for the Contractors vehicle traffic. Construct approximately 11,500 LF of 16-inch ductile iron, double polyethylene wrapped pipeline including appurtenances such as blowoffs, fire hydrants, line valves, and combination air release and vacuum valves. Construct two tie-ins to the Districts existing water system Relocate or replace water services as shown in the plans. Provide environmental mitigation and permit compliance measures.. Provide conventional excavation as required to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Provide rock excavation in accordance with the Contract Documents. Remove unsuitable soil materials and provide replacement materials as required to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents.. Import soil materials as required to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Provide final trench repair paving. At the end of the project, perform up to 6,900 square yards of pavement repairs (digouts) in Mountain View Road and Frances Drive as directed by the District These repairs are in addition to trench repair paving. This item does not include damage to existing paving caused by the Contractor. At the Districts Mountain Top Reservoir Site: Perform CCTV inspection of existing 16-inch inner diameter steel pipe. Construct a flow control valve vault and piping. Coordinate with San Diego Gas & Electric for standby as called out in the plans. Provide minor grading.
