Estero Parkway The redesign of Estero Parkway has been in the works for years. The village has budgeted a total project cost of more than $9 million for plans to repave the road, improve landscaping and add 7-foot bike paths and 6-foot sidewalks on both sides of the road from U.S. 41 to Three Oaks Parkway. There is no start date planned yet for construction on Estero Parkway, said David Willems, Estero's Public Works director. The village has 90% road plans at this time, Willems told the Village Council Wednesday. The village expects to spend nearly $5 million over the next year on Estero Parkway. Estero will get more than $2 million in the next fiscal year from the Lee County Department of Transportation for work on the the road.
