Objective of the project is to carry on with the mitigation of potential acid rock and metal leaching effects on water quality of Highway Creek. Consists of construction of an enhanced wetland complex designed to receive bypass overflow from the Passive Water Treatment System during high flow, as well as the realignment and lining of Highway Creek. Approximately 32 kilometres to the west of Westbank, BC on Highway 97C at the crossing of Highway Creek by Landmark Kilometre Inventory Segment 2032 between km 44.50 and km 47.73.
