The Bob Sikes Bridge Rehabilitation Project involves CR 399 (Bob Sikes Bridge) over Santa Rosa Sound. The West Bridge (480123) and East Bridge (480139) convey vehicle and foot traffic over the Santa Rosa Sound between the City of Gulf Breeze in Santa Rosa County, and Pensacola Beach in Escambia County, Florida. The total project length is 1,620 linear feet (~0.30 miles). The improvements consist of concrete repairs, bearing cleaning and coating, joint replacement, fender repairs, fender cleaning and coating, bulkhead and riprap repairs, and installation of cathodic protection on fender piles and dolphins of Bridges 480123 and 480139.
