The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, is seeking proposals to provide and install Bermuda sod at Kimery Park Soccer Fields. This Request for Proposals (RFP) contains all the information necessary to prepare and submit a proposal. The City reserves the right to award the contract without further discussion on the proposals submitted. The City and its designees also reserve the right to reject and/or accept any and all proposals received or parts thereof. The City retains the right to waive any minor irregularities in any proposal submitted. The City may make such investigations it deems necessary to determine the ability of the proposer to provide/perform as sought by the City and the proposer shall provide relevant information as requested. The four (4) soccer fields at Kimery Park, 271 Kimery Lane, Hot Springs, AR., have been in use for several years. The purpose of this proposal is to properly grade soccer fields and install sod to fields as needed. SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of Hot Springs is requesting proposals to provide labor and materials to prep the fields, increase crowning and install sod as needed on the fields as per specifications. The successful proposer will be responsible for getting the fields prepared to increase the slope and installation of the sod. Using topsoil, raise the middle of each field approximately 6'' and slope toward the side to allow water to properly drain. Topsoil must be free of rocks and roots. Topsoil and sod must be approved by Adam Ussery 501-651-7740 before installing on the fields. Install Bermuda sod as needed. The sod must be good quality material, free of weeds and rocks, and fresh harvest.
