A terminal space planning analyses was performed in 2021 to determine the right size of the building and equate the planned size to the cost of development for purposes of evaluating the financial feasibility The new terminal facility is planned to be the modest space requirements and will accommodate five (5) PBB gates with the remaining ramp area designated as future expansion and Remain-Over-Night (RON) gates, and to provide an "Optimum" level of service (LOS) and guest experience in accordance with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards.
