Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Franklin, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a water / sewer project.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Includes: furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to construct a new 1.22 million gallon per day water treatment plant to remove iron and manganese from the well water. This facility includes, two pressure filtration vessels, cast-in-place concrete tanks, a 5,195 sq. ft. building, process equipment, modifications to the Well Stations Nos. 3 and 6 facilities, demolition, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Also includes land clearing, earthwork, paving, and restoration. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 149, 44A - 44J. The work under this Contract is funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust (the "Trust"). Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals are applicable to the total dollars paid to the construction contract. The goals for this project are a minimum of 4.20 percent D/MBE participation and 4.50 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs.
