In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39M, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of constructing approximately 4,900 feet of roadway improvements along Baron Road, Cobblestone Drive, and Woodstock Circle within the Town of Franklin. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the class of work as, HIGHWAY - CONSTRUCTION, for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost indicated below. The work to be performed will include: excavation, pavement reclamation, pavement milling, paving with hot mix asphalt, sloped edging, hot mix asphalt sidewalks, drainage and sewer improvements, and other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work. The work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, providing all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision to construct the Roadway Improvements. The work includes the construction of roadway improvements on Baron Road, Cobblestone Drive, and Woodstock Circle in the Town of Franklin.
