Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Franklin, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
In accordance with 30, 39M, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of constructing approximately 4,850 feet of roadway improvements along Janie Avenue, Schofield Drive, Eldon Drive, and Richard Lane within the Town of Franklin. Bidders must be pre-qualified with with the class of work as HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost indicated below. The work to be performed will include excavation, pavement reclamation, paving with hot mix asphalt, asphalt berm, granite curb, hot mix asphalt sidewalks, drainage improvements, and other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work.
