Remodeling of a military facility in Clintonville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Install new finishes in former indoor firing ranges to encapsulate existing ceiling, walls and floors ceilings and walls, installing new suspended ceiling furring and gypsum board, epoxy floor coating, new LED electrical modifications and HVAC cleaning. Since these spaces firing ranges lead dust may be present on existing surfaces and encapsulated within existing finishes and equipment. The General Contractor shall take precautions to control dust. The State will be responsible for testing of lead levels after rough-in work is complete. The General Contractor is responsible for cleaning until lead levels are back to 40ug/sf after contractors work. All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $50,000.
