Renovation of a municipal facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work is to include cover plates on junction boxes, update panel directories, replacement of broken devices, fillers and rusting equipment among other items. Initiate project to bring some items back to code and maintenance standards. This project should be tendered with GOC GOC604985 - Electrical Labelling. This is recommended in 2013 BCR recommendation 04.2A-050 - Remedial Electrical Work. As options this should also consider deficiency recommendations from the Mcaine arc flash study and electrical maintenance from 2017. This is to perform required code related updates as per 2013 BCR recommendation 04.2A-050 - Remedial Electrical Work. The issues raised do not impede or impact day to day operations other than to be aware of which items are deficient and to take extra precautions when working in these areas. Arc flash labeling and short circuit coordination study was performed in 2017. * Award subject to final approval.
