Renovation of a water / sewer project in Long Beach, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 25,745-square-foot, two-story above grade water / sewer project.

The general scope of work consists of, but is not limited to the following: 1. Architectural scope will include remove and dispose of existing roofing system in areas indicated down to concrete or steel deck substrate (as occurs). Replace with new roofing system, including flashings and terminations. Re-use existing metal counterflashing where indicated and in sound condition. Remove and replace existing roof hatch with new. provide new roof walkway pads. Construct new acoustical and "hard lid" ceilings/soffits; new ceiling supports except where existing supports are of sound condition, in appropriate configurations, and can successfully remain and be re-used. 2. De-energize, make safe and remove back to source existing electrical conductors and disconnects at level 1, level 2, and rooftop mechanical equipment. Existing conduits to be demolished as shown on the floor plans. 3. Install new electrical connection (rooftop disconnects, conduits, conductors and OCPD at existing panelboard) to new rooftop mechanical equipment. 4. Fire alarm scope to provide complete manual addressable fire alarm system submittal for LBWD building. 5. The mechanical scope is to upgrade/replacement of existing HVAC and control system for the GWTP building. 6. Plumbing scope is replacing roof and overflow drains, provide new gas line and make up water to new boiler skid on roof.
