Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services for the roof repair and restoration/renovation of Building 3000, per bid plans and specifications. At the time bids are submitted, each bidder shall possess a valid Class B and/or C-39 license and must maintain the license throughout the duration of the project. All work performed for this project must be done by properly licensed and/or certified contractors/subcontractors. All questions are to be submitted through PlanetBids only. Any RFI submitted in any other format or in any other method shall go unanswered. This contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. A District allowance of $35,000 for unforeseen circumstances, will be added to the awarded contract. See bid form for more information. A Bid Security of 10% of total bid amount is required to be submitted with bid form. Successful Bidder will be required to furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds. The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevail-ing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Depart-ment of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to sections 1770 et seq. of the California Labor Code. Bidders and Bidders' subcontrac-tors shall comply with the registration and qualification requirements pursuant to sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 of the California Labor Code.
