Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Aspen, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.

As of October 7, 2020, construction has begun and all trades have been let. The work shall consist of what is shown on the plans, stated in the specifications, and summarized below: Order, fabricate, and deliver to the sites all the Prefabricated Steel Trail Bridge materials Install traffic control signs and close the Maroon Scenic Trail and West Maroon Trail. Install erosion control measures including any stream-flow diversion system. Remove the existing bridges abutments as shown in the plans. Excavate for riprap streambanks and foundation protection. Install the geocell pads. Install the grade beams. Remove the stream-flow diversion system. Place the bridges. Place trail surface aggregate on Maroon Scenic Bridge #1 Replacement. Remove signs and re-open Maroon Scenic and West Maroon Trails. Final site work and cleanup.
