Also included are site improvements, the related utilities, access paths, exterior lighting, the demolition of an existing Concession Trailer, the protection of existing trees and the restoration of finished grading. Electrical- Construction (New) Under $400,000 A New Concession Building located North of the Main Parking Lot and South of the Camp Grounds at Illinois Beach State Park, Zion, Lake County, Illinois. The scope of the work provides for the construction of a 3,400 sq.ft. building which includes a commercial kitchen with walk-in refrigerator and freezer, indoor dining, camp store/gift shop, public rest rooms, outdoor showers and vending machine enclosures and an outdoor picnic terrace. Also included are site improvements, the related utilities, access paths, exterior lighting, the demolition of an existing Concession Trailer, the protection of existing trees and the restoration of finished grading. The project is located within a sensitive environmental context where the site will require protection from detrimental construction disturbances. All excavation equipment, bulk materials hauling vehicles that may arrive from other project sites with invasive plant material, will be required to be pressure washed off site. In addition, the State endangered "Blanding Turtles" exist in the vicinity of the project and will require the installation of exclusionary fencing, trenched into the ground around the work area and the instruction of project personnel on procedures should any specimens be encountered.
