Questions raised at the meeting will be noted and answers will be included in an addendum issued prior to the bid opening. A list of Contractors who attended the meeting will be included in the addendum. Please note that only persons directly employed by the represented Contractor may sign for that Contractor; and, only the bids supplied by Contractors who are listed in the addendum will be opened. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to The University of Utah, must be procured and submitted to the University of Utah within 24 hours after the bid due time. The bid bond may be scanned and submitted with the online at the time of the bid. Construction Constraints: Construction is in an active building that will have students. Temporary construction barriers shall be hard walls not plastic sheets. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University.
