Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,439,360-square-foot, one-story above grade, 56-acre warehouse / distribution facility.
Development of a 25-hectare site for transload and warehouse operations for import supply chains. The Import Logistics Park is a strategic complement to the Ridley Island Export Logistics Platform and will be fully integrated into DP World's Fairview Container Terminal. The 56-acre import logistics project will be the first in a series of Indigenous-led plans to develop infrastructure across sprawling properties. The fee simple lands are owned by South Kaien Land Holdings Ltd., a subsidiary of Metlakatla Development Corporation, and co-developed with the Prince Rupert Port Authority. TIMELINE: The primary construction contractor is Coast Tsimshian Northern Contractors Alliance (CTNCA), an Indigenous-led joint venture that includes Coast Tsimshian Enterprises and IDL Projects Inc. *Related project "Ridley Island Export Logistics Platform Expansion" is followed under a separate report. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
