Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 26,496-square-foot educational facility.

The Work of Project: This project includes selective demolition and hazardous material removal; new basement mechanical room and related equipment; new mechanical chases to serve the first and second floor; new architectural finishes on the first floor; and a renovation of the second floor. This project shall be built in phased construction. Phase 1 shall be the ground floor construction completed prior to starting construction on the other floors. Phase 2 shall be the construction of temporary barriers on the first floor to allow annex access to restrooms on the ground floor. The second-floor telecom room shall be completed prior to the rest of the construction on the second floor. And all other construction shall follow. The area to be renovated totals approximately 26,496 sqft on three floors. Addendum #1-#4 have been issued as of February 11, 2022. Note from bidder C.T. Wilson on 1-19-2022: Meet in the first-floor lobby tomorrow, January 20th at 10 AM to walk through the building. If you cannot make tomorrow's meeting, there is a second walk-through on Friday at 10:00 AM. A few have called and asked if the work is only on the second floor of the building. The work is on all floors of the building where it is shown on the plans. Mainly the basement, first and second floors. There is some phasing of the restroom work expected. I will be there tomorrow morning. Parking at NCSU takes some research and time. Don't expect to park in front of the building. I would not be surprised if they require face masks. Bring your mask.
