Site work for a water / sewer project in Tigard, Oregon. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The citys Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) program began in 2001 with the drilling of ASR 1. In 2006, the city completed the construction of the ASR 2 facility and in 200 the city drilled and tested ASR 3. This project has three phases: (1) construction of new facilities to make ASR Well 3 operational; (2) replacement of electrical devices with easier-to-maintain components to existing ASR 2 facilities; and, (3) connection of two pressure zones to improve storage and distribution from ASR 3. Operations and Maintenance Impact: Operations staff will be able to manage summer peak demands more efficiently in the future. As of December 26, 2023, this project is included City of Tigard FY 2024-2029 CIP. Information regarding design completion and firm construction timelines has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
