Renovation of a municipal facility in Boca Raton, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Boca Raton is seeking bids from qualified firms for hardening of the Building "A" on the complex site. The overall intent of this project is to harden the building to withstand an ultimate design wind speed of 186 mph. Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials, including all incidentals and appurtenances to harden the Building "A" structure, this will include but not be limited to new impact resistant glass, shutter replacement, exterior stucco and painting, new entrance canopy, minor site work, coating of roof joists and decking, screen wall and foundation reinforcement, equipment tie-down, window and door testing, retrofitting existing masonry walls and CMU joint crack repairs.
