Work includes provide and install a new 33,000 gallon glass-fused-to-steel elevated water storage tank. Connect to the existing underground water distribution piping. Replace existing booster pump station with new one. Disconnect from service, clean, restore and preserve the existing historic masonry water tower. Convert it to an observation tower. Disconnect and remove existing booster pump station electrical equipment. Provide and install new secondary power wiring, distribution panels and electrical equipment at the water storage tank, booster pump station and water treatment plant. Provide and install new wired and wireless control systems at the water storage tank, booster pump station and water treatment plant. Provide and install new solar power system at the water storage tank. Please note that contacting any other agency staff regarding this contract may be a violation of State Finance Law, Section 139j, resulting in a determination of contractor non-responsibility. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract.
