Renovation of an educational facility in Vermillion, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,790-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

As of October 14,2020 the project was awarded to L & L Builders Company but the awarded amount was not confirmed . The start and completion date has not yet been determined. Bidder further agrees the Plans and Specifications are the sole property of the State; Each bid in excess of $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or draft in the amount of 5% of the base bid and all add alternates and drawn on a State or National Bank, or a 10% bid bond issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and made payable to the Board of Regents of the State of South Dakota. The BOR reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein. The Project consists of the fourth-floor dorm room and corridor renovation & improvements of Richardson Hall at USD. DESCRIPTION OF ALTERATIONS WORK A. Scope of demolition and removal work is indicated on drawings and specified in Section 02 4100. B. Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. C. Renovate fourth loor, complete interior finishes including fire suppression and electrical work: 1. Walls, Floors, and Ceilings: Metal stud with gypsum board, doors & frames, casework, flooring, interior painting and acoustical panel ceilings. D. Electrical Power and Lighting: Alter existing and add new construction. E. Fire Suppression Sprinklers: Alter existing and add new construction. F. Fire Alarm: Alter existing and add new construction. G. Owner will remove the following items before start of work: 1. Door hardware cores prior to removal of doors and frames.. H. Contractor shall remove and store the following prior to start of work, for later reinstallation by Contractor: 1. Remove and salvage the evacuation map on the backs of all doors and reinstall on new doors..
