Lewis & Clark Regional Water System of Tea, South Dakota will receive bids for construction of the Site C Collector Wells project. The project is located south of Vermillion, SD and west of South Dakota Highway 19. Base Bid (Well C1): o Construction of one large capacity collector well - this includes a 16-foot I.D. caisson approximately 125 to 135 feet in depth, twelve horizontal lateral collectors (each approximately 200 to 250 feet in length with 190 to 240 feet of screen), well completion, development, testing, and disinfection, piping, valves, fittings and all other equipment. o Site work, grading, and roadway. o Temporary and permanent erosion control, reclamation and seeding. And, o Clean up, site restoration and all other miscellaneous work required, not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction contract documents. Bid Alternate 1 (Well C2): o Construction of a second large capacity collector well - this includes a 16-foot I.D. caisson approximately 115 to 125 feet in depth, twelve horizontal lateral collectors (each approximately 200 to 250 feet in length with 190 to 240 feet of screen), well completion, development, testing, and disinfection, piping, valves, fittings and all other equipment. o Site work, grading, and roadway. o Temporary and permanent erosion control, reclamation and seeding.
