As of December 13, 2022, project was awarded to BrightView Landscape Services Inc., awarded amount is $1,695,478.51. This project is located within the City of Peoria. The limits of improvements include City of Peoria maintained right-of-way on 75th Avenue beginning north of Olive Avenue and Grand Avenue (Sta.9+95) to approximately 400-feet north of Emilie Zola Avenue (Sta. 151+50). The project limits occur intermittently on the west and east side of 75th Avenue as indicated on the Plans. The work consists of grubbing of shrub material, selective clearing of landscape areas, selective existing tree removals and remaining existing tree protection, abandonment of existing irrigation and replacement with new irrigation systems, placing new riprap landscape borders, planting of new trees and understory plant material, selective placement of new organic mulch, and refreshing the landscape areas with new decomposed granite over existing decomposed granite as shown in the project plans.
