Site work for a water / sewer project in Chesterfield, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes, but is not limited to the retrofit of approximately 340 linear feet (LF) of ariprap lined channels to a Regenerative Stormwater Conveyance (RSC) discharging to an unnamed tributary of Proctors Creek. The drainage area to the RSC is approximately 18 acres. Construction activities include grading, construction of riprap forebays, step pools, cobble & boulder riffles, installation of sand/woodchip media, seeding, mulching, and planting Addenda will be emailed, mailed and/or faxed to prospective bidders (all known Plan holders) at respective addresses furnished for such purpose. Each bidder is responsible for determining that all addenda issued have been received and shall acknowledge receipt of all addenda in the space provided on the Bid Form or by returning a copy of each signed addendum. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. All addenda so issued shall become part of the IFB and any resulting contract documents. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. The site is roughly bounded by Iron Bridge Road to the south, Lori Road and a wooded area to the west and north, and Krause Road to the east. The site is generally developed and site grades are relatively flat, with elevations varying from about EL 200 at the northern limits to about EL 210 at the southern limits. We obtained the site information from topographic information provided by your office and through our site visits. The Work is located at the site of Chesterfield County Government Complex, 9751 Government Center Parkway, Chesterfield, VA 23832. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the retrofit of approximately 340 linear feet (LF) of a riprap lined channels to a Regenerative Stormwater Conveyance (RSC) discharging to an unnamed tributary of Proctors Creek.
