Site work for a water / sewer project in Chesterfield, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work is located along Pocoshock Creek, beginning at Sturbridge Drive & Sturbridge Court, Richmond, VA 23236. The Work is located in Chesterfield County and extends from Station 16+00 to Station 58+00 along Pocoshock Creek off of Sturbridge Drive and Pocono Drive, Chesterfield, VA 23236. The work includes, but is not limited to, the restoration and enhancement of approximately 4,500 linear feet (LF) of Pocoshock Creek. The drainage area at the downstream project limits is approximately 2.3 square miles. Restoration activities include grading, installation of various grade control structures and cobble as channel substrate enhancement, seeding, matting, and planting. The removal of large specimen trees shall be minimized, with a goal of reusing cleared trees within the restored channels where practicable. Any changes or supplemental instructions to this Invitation for Bid shall be in the form of written addenda. Addenda will be emailed, mailed and/or faxed to prospective bidders (all known Plan holders) at respective addresses furnished for such purpose. Each bidder is responsible for determining that all addenda issued have been received and shall acknowledge receipt of all addenda in the space provided on the Bid Form or by returning a copy of each signed addendum. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. All addenda so issued shall become part of the IFB and any resulting contract documents.
