Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and municipal facility.

Rehabilitation of the existing facility. The Canadian National Railway Building is a historic railway station located on the City's waterfront, originally constructed in 1921. The condition of the building has degraded and now requires significant rehabilitation to allow for new occupation. TIMELINE: Request for proposals for the provision of architectural and engineering designs services, is closed. Project manager do not release successful proponent. City has selected Wheelhouse Brewing as the commercial tenant. Updates may be available in spring 2025, pending approvals.
