Renovation of a water / sewer project in Summerland, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Supply and construction of a new bulk hypochlorite system for the Water Treatment Plant ("WTP") as listed below and shown in the IFT Drawings and detailed in Specification 01 11 00: Supply and installation of one (1) truck unloading station, complete with containment, two (2) below ground 13,000 L HDLPE tanks suitable for storing 12% sodium hypochlorite solution, and the control system Supply and installation of two (2) 26,500 L high density linear polyethylene tanks suitable for storing 12% sodium hypochlorite solution Installation of six (6) chemical dosing pumps (pumps will be supplied by the Owner) Supply and installation of service water lines, dosing lines, vent lines, valves, instrumentation, control and electrical items as shown on the Drawings Connect the new lines to the existing lines in the WTP Construction of outdoor containment pad and indoor poured concrete floor slab Relocation of the existing safety shower package and extend its inlet water and drain lines as shown on the Drawings Supply and installation all electrical and instrumentation items as shown on the Drawings Supply, test and install control panel Programming and connecting the system to the treatment plant control system Testing, commissioning, and start-up of the new facility Documents can be obtained from https://new.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/ Cancelled - Plans to retender has not been determined.
