Renovation of a water / sewer project in Summerland, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The overall objective of this project is to remove and dispose of identified equipment which is no longer used in the old Filter Building. Removal of equipment is part of a process with subsequent phases to backfill the space below grade and pour a concrete slab at the floor elevation for equipment storage. Deliverables: Removal and disposal of the following: A. Travelling bridge, travelling bridge tracks, and associated equipment. B. Backwash trough and backwash pipe beside south walkway. C. All equipment in effluent channel. D. Two (2) vertical I-beams that hold electrical slider. E. All electrical components related to the sand filter. F. Aluminum grating on south side of filter building. G. Identified HVAC unit with associated ducting and electrical. H. Guard rails on east and west ends The District has a maximum budget of $90,000 for this work. If all Quotations are over budget, the District intends to award a portion of the work to the Respondent with the lowest total price.
