Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Savannah, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The proposed project will widen DeLesseps/LaRoche Avenue from Waters Avenue to Skidway Road adding curb and gutter, sidewalks, and storm drainage, approximately 1.4 mile in Chatham County. The proposed project will consists of two 11-foot lanes with 30 cur and gutter and 5-foot sidewalks adjacent to the back of curb throughout the entire corridor for both the east and westbound lanes. From the east side of Truman Parkway to Skidaway Road 4-foot bikes lanes will be constructed between the travel lanes and the curb and gutter on both sides of the road. The proposed sidewalks will tie into the existing raised concrete shoulder on the bridge. Drainage improvement including curb and gutter, curb inlets, and storm drain pipe will be provide throughout the project and will outfall into existing drainage system located sporadically through the corridor. The project will also include signal upgrades at the existing signalized intersections for pedestrian phases. Last day for questions will be Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM and the last day for addendum to be issued will be Thursday, January 7, 2021. The Minority Employment Provisions will be evaluated and those bids found to be in compliance with the Minority Employment Provisions shall be opened and read aloud at 1:30PM EST on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 The DBE goal for this project is 20% with a local DBE of 10%
